Pieter De Buysser is a Dutch-speaking writer, who lives and works in Brussels. He mainly writes texts for theater. In September 2012 his first novel "De Keisnijders" was published by De Geus. He was nominated for the "Taalunie Toneelschrijf" and "Vlaamse cultuurprijs Podiumkunsten" awards. He has received the Emile Zola Price, the "Dwarse Denker" Trophy and the "Kleine Marie Hartman-pen". His shows are regularly invited in festivals throughout Europe and sometines beyond.
His texts are published and/or performed in English, Dutch, French, Polish and Italian.

Pieter De Buysser was commissioned by fieldworks to write a text for Borrowed Landscape-Leuven.
