Especially made for the building and surroundings of arts center PACT Zollverein (Essen, Germany), the installation version of the production distant voices is a live happening taking places simultaneously in various spaces. Performers are moving and being moved by cubic objects. Together they form transformable (sound) sculptures that travel through the various spaces and interact with its space and visitors. Where distant voices explored the possible meanings and bounderies of one specific space, its installation version literally breaks free from this bounderies.
